With 2018 having arrived so quickly, we thought we’d take a few moments to share with you our 2017 highlights.

On the 5th, we publicly announced that we were going to sell everything to travel full time! It was a crazy yet exciting day.

Feb 11th, we drove up to Lithia Subaru and purchased Gandalf the White, our 2017 Subaru Forester (our travel vehicle)!

My beloved kitty moved to his new home with the Buckmasters on the 19th. He’s so happy there!

David and I went with our church again on the Mexico Mission Trip over Spring Break!

Nothing super cool happened. We put more effort into selling our belongings and preparing our house to sell.

David turned 34! He celebrated by taking the day off and we spent the afternoon in downtown Portland.

Later in the month, I passed my Real Estate Licensing Exam! (Need a recommendation?)

We listed our house for sale and went pending 3 days later!

The Eclipse happened, and we observed it from an airplane!

We had a lovely send-off party and enjoyed the evening with friends and family.

We made $3k + in our estate sale, and closed on our house!

We left Yamhill County on the 1st and spent Labor Day Weekend at the coast with our Church Family.

Our 4th anniversary took place in San Francisco! David participated in an ice cream eating contest.

Thanksgiving was spent with our new friends Brad and Courtney (whom we met at The Price Is Right) in Texas and went to the Dallas Cowboys game at AT&T Stadium! David’s bucket list Item!

Happy Thanksgiving from AT&T Stadium!

We bought a drone!

We arrived in Bay Shore, NY! It has snowed a couple times here on Long Island. We babysat our niece for a week and have really been enjoying our time here. We couldn’t imagine spending the holidays without family!

Rockefeller Center with the Trottas!

2017 was quite a busy year, but we know that 2018 will be even better! We are looking forward to the many more travels and experiences to come.

Thanks for tuning in and we wish you a very Happy New Year!
